Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp and River Falls Police Departments on

Dec. 28, 2011:

• James D. Edwards, 23, for a grand jury indictment on unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and held on a $200,000 bond.

• Billy Lee Lambert, 38, for public intoxication and held on a $300 bond.

• Roy B. Smith, 56, for possession of a controlled substance and held on a $40,000 bond.

• Freddie Lee Yelverton, 47, for third-degree domestic violence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and held on a $1,000 bond.

• Thomithy A. Carter, 38, for negotiating a worthless instrument and held on a $3,000 bond.
