No reservations are needed for a New Year’s Eve dinner in Andalusia.
While nothing “official” is planned to ring in the holiday, local restaurants said staff are ready to serve residents a nice sit-down meal.
For those looking for a traditional menu of seafood, steaks and chicken, there are many options.
At Hilltop Restaurant in Gantt, Nikki Harris said locals shouldn’t forget about their raw oysters.
“We’ve got anything you want, plus we’ve just added wine to our beverage menu,” she said. “ We’ve got a nice white zinfandel, a pinot noir, a merlot and a moscato.”
Dinner will be served until 9 p.m.
At David’s Catfish House, manager Dan West said staff would be on hand until 9 p.m.
“We open at 11 a.m. with our regular menu, which also includes Gulf shrimp, steaks and hamburgers,” he said.
For those looking for something different, there is also the choice of Japanese or Italian.
At Samurai’s Japanese Steak House, one can order sushi and the like until 10 p.m., and at Ophelia’s on River Falls Street, platefuls of spaghetti, lasagna and more until 9 p.m.
