Florala’s Wildcats put four quarters together in a 43-23 area victory over Kinston Tuesday night at KHS.

The Wildcats outscored the Bulldogs 7-5 in the first period, and led 19-14 at half time.

Colt Jackson led FHS with 14 points, and Jonathan Burleson chipped in 12 points.

John Bess had eight points, and Hunter Oswald had six points.

“I was very pleased — we finally put four quarters together,” FHS coach Daniel Allison said. “That’s one thing I’ve been preaching about the last few weeks — being consistent.”

M. Davis had 13 points for the Bulldogs.

Florala improves to 2-11 overall, and 1-0 in Class 1A, Area 2. The Wildcats will visit Pleasant Home on Friday night to continue in area action.
