Opp’s boys and girls varsity basketball teams suffered area losses on Thursday night at Geneva.

The boys team fell 48-39, and the girls team fell 45-40.

Zyki Wade had 12 points and Quantavise Stoudemire had 10 points for the Bobcats (2-10, 0-1 in Class 3A, Area 2).

Saquaya Lane had 14 points for the Lady Bobcats (5-4, 0-1).

Opp will play host to Pike County tonight to continue its regular season area action.
