The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce membership drive has kicked off the 2012 season.

Officials said “exciting new activities are being planned for the upcoming year and every one is invited to join us.”

Local activities sponsored by the Chamber include a political rally in February, the Be-Bop for Sock Hop in June, the annual chili cook off and auction scheduled for November and the annual Christmas parade.

The Chamber holds monthly meetings the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Ladies’ Clubhouse on Wildflower Ave.

Categories for membership are $50 for business; $25 for family members and $15 for individuals.
