Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp and River Falls Police Departments

Jan. 23, 2012:

• Joseph Morris, 22, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a pistol without a permit and held on a $16,000 bond.

• Cynthia Thompson, 18, for failure to appear and held on a $500 cash bond.

• Walter Penrod, 20, for three counts of violation of probation and held without bond.

• Billy Tillery, 51, for failure to pay child support and held without bond.

• Tyrone Hendrson, 40, for possession of marijuana I and possession of a controlled substance and held on a $13,500 bond.

• Kristen D. Taylor, 31, for public intoxication and held on a $300 bond.
