Students from Andalusia Ballet will be attending the Alabama Dance Festival this weekend, Jan. 27 – Jan. 29, in Birmingham. Students will take master classes from renowned instructors in many different dance forms from classical ballet technique to Afro-fusion and from Fosse jazz to urban Latin dance.  In addition, students will have the opportunity to see both Brazz Dance Theater and Evidence: A Dance Company perform at Samford University’s Wright Center.

Students from Andalusia Ballet will also be performing in the Alabama Dance Showcase on Sun., Jan. 29, at the Wright Center.

M. Kathryn Barrow, Erica Bernstein, Emily Kelley, Elizabeth McCalman, Hannah McCalman, Cameron Morgan, Savannah Claire Morgan, and Kelsey Nix will be performing a piece choreographed by Ryan Carroll to Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin.
