Wildcats fall to Laurel Hill

Florala only had one player score in double figures against Laurel Hill on Tuesday night, and that wasn’t enough as the Wildcats suffered a 58-31 loss at home.

Laurel Hill led 13-6 after the first period, and 24-17 at half time.

LHHS led 39-28 at the end of the third period, and outscored Florala 19-3 in the fourth period.

Erik Vega led the Wildcats with 11 points; Hunter Oswald had eight points; Jonathan Burleson, Colt Jackson and Austin McNeil had four points each.

FHS will visit Straughn tomorrow night in regular season action. The B-team tips off at 4:30.
