Comedian Bob Stromberg will be the entertainment for the annual Mizell Gala, officials said Wednesday.

The event, which is held yearly to raise mo-ney to help fund the Mi-zell Well-ness Cen-ter, is slated for Aug. 9 at the First Bap-tist Church Fellowship Center on Whaley Street.

Tickets are $50 for individuals, and are tax-deductible.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and the menu will include the traditional prime rib.

Donations are also needed for the event.
