Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp and River Falls Police Departments Feb. 6, 2012:

• Joshua Bitzer, 26, for violation of probation and held without bond.

• James R. Alford, 45, for five counts of possession of a forged instrument and five counts of theft of property III and held on a $65,000 bond.

• Willie Glover, 49, for possession of marijuana I and held on a $10,000 bond.

• Eugene Nevlous, 32, for failure to pay child support and held without bond.

Clarification: In the Tues., Feb. 7, edition, it was reported that Timothy Edward Page, 28, was arrested for public intoxication and drug possession. This is not the Timothy Gene Page, 50, of Andalusia. The Star-News is happy to clarify this matter for our readers.
