Mr. and Mrs. John D. Herring of Montgomery are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Margot Brooke Herring, to Wayne Thomas Taylor of Montgomery, son of Mrs. Julia Ann Taylor and the late Mr. Sammie Thomas Taylor of Montgomery.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kirkland of Montgomery and the late Mr. Hoke D. Smith Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Budd of River Falls and the late Mr. G. Ellis Herring.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Julian C. Clements of Dothan and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Taylor.
