MARIE BURGESS BILLINGSLEY

Marie Burgess Billingsley, 88, of Andalusia, died Sun., Feb. 19, 2012, in a local hospital.

Funeral services were held on Tues., Feb. 21, 2012, at 2 p.m., from the Foreman Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Merrill Davis and the Rev. Bill Pritchett officiating. Interment followed in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mark Gunter, Al Earnest, Steve Godwin, Lowe Dillard, Donald Maddox and Dallas Merritt.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Billingsley; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Barry Clark; a grandchild, Amber Clark, all of Andalusia; and several nieces and nephews.

CORA MAE COOK

Cora Mae Cook, 90, of the Rawls Community, died on Mon., Feb. 20, 2012, in a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be held today, Wed., Feb. 22, at 11 a.m., from the Rawls Baptist Church Cemetery with her niece, Cheryl Patterson, and the Rev. Drexel Copeland officiating.

Survivors include one brother, John Henry Cook of Dozier; several nieces and nephews, Cheryl (Wayne) Patterson of Clemson, S.C., Donna (Bob) Keller of Crestview, Fla., John (Molly) Cook of Arlington, Mass., Sally (Keith) Duncan of Dozier, Angel Cook of Hartselle, Dottie (Henry) McEwen of Homewood and David (LaFonda) Cook of Red Level; and several great nieces and nephews.
