Mr. and Mrs. Toyal Jackson of Opp are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Whitney Jackson, to Jordan Jones of Straughn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late William O. Parker and the late Vivian Parker, the late James T. Jackson and Edith Jackson, all of Opp.

She is a 2005 graduate of Opp High School and will graduate from Troy University in 2012.

The prospective groom is the son of Rex Jones and the late Teresa Jones of Straughn. He is the grandson of the late Robert Jones and Mary Jones and the late Esker Lee and Madine Lee of Andalusia.

He is a 2000 graduate of Straughn High School and a 2004 graduate of Troy University.

The couple will wed at 2 p.m., on Sat., March 3, 2012, at Bethany Baptist Church.
