A story in the Friday edition of The Star-News incorrectly stated that an estate sale at the Hughes Mansion in Florala would begin yesterday. To the 50 to 60 people who showed up early for the sale that actually begins today, Sat., Feb. 25, we apologize.

Sale hours are 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. today, and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The story also stated that the historic mansion has been sold. That sale, in fact, we learned yesterday, fell through, and the house is still on the market.
