Weather to cool off, return to warm

Covington County remained unscathed from thunderstorms that made their way through the state yesterday, now temperatures are expected to get much cooler before warming up again.

Today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny conditions, with a high near 63, with a North wind between 5 and 15 mph. Tonight, a 20 percent chance of rain is expected after midnight, and a low will be around 40.

Sunday the chance of rain increased to 30 percent, with a high of 59. Rain is still expected Sunday night with a low of 45.

Monday there is a slight chance of rain with a high near 70.

Tuesday temps will increase to around 73, wiht a slight chance of showers.

Thunderstorms will roll back in Tuesday night with a 40 percent chance with a low around 60.

Wednesday, a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms is expected with a high near 76.

Sunny skies are expected Thursday with a high near 76.

Thursday night, a 20 percent chance of showers is expected, with mostly cloudy conditions, with a low around 51.

On Friday, a 30 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 75.
