Andalusia Elementary School is wrapping up its Read Across America week, today and Friday.

This year’s theme is green for a very special celebration. NEA’s campaign is showcasing Dr. Suess’s “The Lorax.”

Today, students are wearing their favorite sports team apparel and saying “Good Sports Always Read.”

Friday is Dr. Suess’s birthday and green eggs and ham will be served for lunch.

Students will be treated to the LBWCC Ensemble, and many special guests will be on campus reading to classes, reading specialist Vickie Ptomey said.
