Pleasant Home’s softball team regrouped and came together to beat Opp 4-1 tonight in regular season action at OHS.

The Lady Eagles suffered a bitter 15-0 loss to the Bobcats on Saturday at the City of Andalusia’s annual high school tournament.

Emily Byrd struck out eight, allowed seven hits and one earned run to help lead the Lady Eagles on the mound in the win.

Anna Bulger went 1-for-3; Raven Woods went 2-for-3; Ashley Copeland went 1-for-3; and Byrd went 1-for-3 with a triple.

PHS will host Flomaton tomorrow in a regular season match up. JV starts at 4 p.m.
