APD seeks 3rd robbery suspect

Two men are in custody and police are looking for a third after the trio allegedly forced their way into a Riley Street home and robbed a man at gunpoint.
Andalusia Police Department Sgt. Cody Warren said the incident occurred Friday afternoon when Kenya K. Adams, Domonique T. Curry and an unidentified third man robbed the man of cash and other personal items.
Warren said police began their investigation that afternoon, but were unable to locate Adams until Monday evening, and Curry, late Tuesday afternoon.
The two are each charged with theft of property I, robbery I and burglary I. Curry also faces a kidnapping I charge, after he allegedly held the victim at gunpoint for nearly 30 minutes before leaving the scene, Warren said.
Adkins is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $1.25 million bond, while
Curry is being held on a $1.75 million bond.
Warren declined to comment further on the case, as it remains under investigation.
