Florala’s girls game against McKenzie was called due to inclement weather on Tuesday night.

The Lady Wildcats had a 3-0 lead over the Lady Tigers when game officials called the game.

In earlier action this week, the Lady Wildcats fell to Kinston 14-9 on Monday night.

Florala’s Sammy Hammac and Keandra Avan had hits for FHS, and Sierra Gibson gave her team a nice bunt, coach Phillip Smith said.

“With some work, we will definitely clean up our defense and try to keep the score down,” Smith said. “On offense, we need to keep putting the ball in play to score runs. The girls are working hard and improving every game.”

Kendyl McDaniel and Lily Ritzel got on base in the first inning for FHS.

Additionally, Grace Cox got a hit for the Lady Wildcats.
