Thinking of dabbling in the arts this spring? Then, the Opp Cultural Arts Council may have a class for you.

OCAC President Martha Chisum said 10 to 12 spots are open for an impressionist oil painting class taught by Elizabeth Reid.

“I took her last class, and it was simply marvelous,” Chisum said. “It’s a great way to learn. She teaches where it is easy to learn.”

The three-day workshop will begin April 16 and end April 18, and will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Chisum said the cost is $300 for OCAC members and $325 for nonmembers.

“Our classes tend to fill quickly, and we already have several signed up,” Chisum said. “We are looking forward to a great class.”

Deadline to sign up is April 2.
