The Covington Arts Council will close out its 2011-2012 season this weekend with The Legends of Motown.

“This is a good event to end our season,” CAC executive director Paula Harr said. “A lot of people remember this music, but younger people know and enjoy the music, too.”

Harr said members of the band, Horizons, have great voices.

“I think people will be dancing in the aisles, and if they’re not, they will want to be,” she said.

The event is set for 7 p.m. this Sat., March 24, in the Dixon Center for Performing Arts at LBWCC.

Tickets are available at Brooks Hardware, Ansley Place and Harold’s. They are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Student tickets are $10.
