MERLIE AGNES THOMPSON
Merlie Agnes Thompson, 89, of Florala, passed away Mon., March 26, 2012, in the Florala Health and Rehabilitation Facility.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., on Fri., March 30, at Liberty Hill Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Johnny White officiating and burial will follow in North Creek Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Liberty Hill Assembly of God Church.
Survivors two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bruce Wayne Thompson and Robert Leon and Sally Thompson, all of Florala; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Henry Emerson and Joanne Mitchell of Dade City, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Thompson, her parents, two sisters, two brothers, a daughter, Judy Kay Hatton, and a grandson, Alfred Youtzy.
ESTHER PEARL JERNIGAN
Esther Pearl Jernigan, 81, of River Falls, died Sat., March 24, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services were held on Mon., March 26, at the South Church of God in Red Level with the Rev. Jason Justus officiating, and burial following in the church cemetery. Special music was provided by Elbert Craig, Kandy Walden, Wanda Walden and J.C. Walden.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Jeanette Carter and Kathy and Lamar Thomasson of River Falls; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Esther Lee Griggs, DeWayne and Pat Griggs, Joe Darrell and Sharon Griggs, all of Red Level.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, James Jernigan and Wayne Booker, and her son, Lamar Jernigan.
Pallbearers were Whit Brawner, Ryan Brawner, Scott Jernigan, Jeff Jernigan, John Jeffcoat, Chris Jeffcoat and Zachary Cirlik.

ARTHUR RAYMOND RABREN
Arthur Raymond Rabren, 88, of Montgomery, formerly of Andalusia, died Sun., March 25, 2012, in a Montgomery nursing home.
Funeral services will be held today, Tues., March 27, at 2 p.m., from the Foreman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Hepburn officiating.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Angie and Wayne Miller of Montgomery; his two grandchildren and their spouses, Mick and Angie Miller and Ashley and Jason Till; and two great-grandchildren, Madeline Miller and Kathryn Till.
