Despite dark clouds and some scattered rain showers experienced in Covington County today, the Travis Tritt concert that kicks off the Rattlesnake Rodeo in Opp tonight is on.

Earlier this afternoon, Mayor H.D. Edgar said the concert was a go.

“The weather reports look like this will be around us by time for the concert,” he said.

The concert begins at 8 p.m.

Gretchen Wilson will perform Saturday at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for a day pass, or $30 for a two-day pass.
