Abbott Franklin Tompkins

Abbott Franklin Tompkins, also know as Cotton, passed away in his home

March 28, 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Tompkins; and three children, Tina Haney of Chancellor, Ala., Abbott Tompkins Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., and Bridgette Hoomes of Brewton, Ala.

Abbott is also survived by his sisters, Audrey Ballard of Andalusia and Myrice Tyndale of Newborn, N.C.; his five grandchildren, Jessica Williamson of Andalusia, Heather Garrard of Arizona, Jeffery Haney of Chancellor, and Brad and Heather Cole of Brewton. Abbott had five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial will be held by his family at his home in Chancellor, Ala.

 

Deborah Land Watson Little

Mrs. Deborah Land Watson Little, age 47, of Andalusia died Fri., March 30, 2012, in a Pensacola Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sun., April 1, 2012, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Derek Stuart officiating. Interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Little is survived by her husband, John A. Little of Andalusia; daughters, Stephanie Johnson (Russell) of Robertsdale, Ala., and Kimberly Gunter Ray (Keith) of Andalusia; her parents, Mae Virginia and Leon Watson of Andalusia; several aunts and uncles, and a multitude of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight, Sat., March 31, at Foreman’s.
