An “escapee” from the Montgomery Women’s Facility was arrested just after lunch Monday by the Covington County Drug Task Force.

Brandy Michelle Partin, 29, was scheduled to return from an eight-hour pass to Coving-ton County Sunday when she fled from her mother’s vehicle.

Sometime after lunch, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force notified DTF agents that Partin was in the Andalusia area.

DTF Commander Mark Odom said Partin was located at a home on Railroad Avenue and taken into custody.

Partin was sentenced out of Covington County on June 10, 2011, and is serving a 10-year sentence for forgery, theft and fraud. She had a parole date set in July 2013 and is scheduled to expire her sentence in July 2014.

Partin will likely face an escape charge following the weekend incident.
