An Opp woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Airport Road Wednesday.

Taylor Danielle Blair, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Alabama State Trooper Public Information Officer Greg Eubanks.

The crash occurred around 4:02 p.m., when Blair, who was driving a 2008 Nissan Sentra cross the yellow line and struck another vehicle.

Reports from the scene said there was a young child aboard the Sentra, and that a Chevrolet truck had burst into flames.

Eubanks said he did not have any information on the other vehicle, nor did he have information on any passengers that may have been in the vehicle with Blair.

State Troopers are still investigating the accident. The Star-News will update its readers when more details become available.
