Have yard sale items you want to get rid of?

The Opp Downtown Revitalization Authority may have the answer for you in its annual “Downtown Opp Yard Sale.”

DRA member Emilee Gage said spaces are available for $10 each, and people are allowed to purchase multiple spaces.

“We have 100 spaces available and they are first come, first serve,” she said. “The spaces will line Main Street and Covington Avenue, similar to the layout of Opp Fest.”

Gage said there will be no vendors.

For those who get hungry, while shopping, there will be barbecue plates for $5 from Bama’s Best Barbecue.

“We encourage you to bring your stuff and try to sell it,” she said.

Applications are due April 25.

“But they may be filled up before then, so turn in your applications early,” Gage said.

The event will be held Sat., April 28, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Gage said applications may be picked up at the Opp Chamber of Commerce or by emailing egage@oppcatv.com.
