Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Wayne Jones of Opp are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lydia Brynne, to Brannon Wayne Heape, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Lee Heape of Smyrna, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. John Wilson Fryer and Mrs. Ramona Wilson

Fryer and the late Mr. Winston Jones and Mrs. Doris Yancey Jones, all of Opp.

She is a 2006 graduate of Opp High School and a 2010 graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a bachelor of science in nutrition and food science. She will gradate with a masters of science in clinical nutrition from the University of Alabama Birmingham in May. She was a member of Chi Omega social sorority.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayne Swilley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lee Heape, all of Mobile.

He is a 2004 graduate of Pike Liberal Arts School in Troy and a 2008 graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a bachelor of science in biomedical sciences. He will graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in June and will begin and oral and maxillofacial residency at the University of Louisville in July.

The couple will wed at 5 p.m. on May 26, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Opp.
