The Covington County Children’s Policy Council and the Covington County Peer Helpers will host a town hall meeting on underage drinking at 6 tonight at the County Board of Education office.

Judge Trippy McGuire will facilitate the meeting, which will include presentations by Steve McGowin of the Andalusia Police Department, Lt. Lance Price of the ABC, and Peer Helpers.

April is alcohol awareness month.

National, state and local surveys of teens show that underage drinking is a common practice.
