Sara and Ron Williams are happy to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Odom, to Michael Tanner Carter, son of Debbie of Mikie Carter, all of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Roger L. Odom Jr. She is the maternal granddaughter of Earl and Rebecca Cleghorn of Andalusia and the paternal granddaughter of the late Donnie Odom and Caroline Odom of Dozier and Ronald and Jonnie Williams of Samson.

She is a 2009 graduate of Straughn High School. She will complete her cosmetology certificate from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College-MacArthur campus this summer and is employed at Headhunters Styling Salon.

The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of the late J.D. and Bonceil Hart and the paternal grandson of Johnny and Sherry Jackson.

He is a 2008 graduate of Pleasant Home School and is employed at Covington Heavy Duty Parts.

The wedding will be held at Robbins Place in Dozier on May 12, 2012. Invitations will be sent.
