The Alabama Dept. of Transportation announced Tuesday it will begin work on Sun., May 13, 2012, on the planing, resurfacing and traffic stripe on AL-55 from the north of AL 15 (US 29) at mile post 522.7 to south of AL 12 (US 84) at mile post 525.003 in Andalusia. The work will be performed at night.

The contractor has erected advance construction warning since to advise the traveling public of the construction work zone. Motorists are urged to reduce speed and use caution when traveling through and around equipment and workers.
