Eagles Black make come back win

Trailing 7-0 in the second inning, the 9-10 Eagles Black scored five runs and added four runs in the fourth in a 10-9 victory over the Eagles Red on Monday night at Legends Field in Andalusia.

Ansley, Harley and Breanna had two runs each for the Eagles Black.

Natalie, Bella and Marley scored two runs each for the Eagles Red.

In other action, the Bulldogs beat the Aftershock, 11-7.

The Bulldogs scored six runs in the first inning and five runs in the second.

The Aftershock scored one run in the first inning and six runs in the third inning.

Brook, Elizabeth, Tylin, Payton, Karley-Belle scored two runs each to lead the Bulldogs.

11-to-12-year-old girls

Amber hit a two-run home run in the first inning and the White Tigers added three runs in the fifth in a 7-4 victory over Pleasant Home on Monday night.

Additionally, Amber struck out seven in the win on the mound.

The Straughn Black routed the Bulldogs 18-5, scoring four runs in the first inning, five runs in the second inning, eight runs in the third inning and one run in the fourth inning.

9-to-10-year-old boys

The Brewers scored nine runs in the fourth inning in a 13-5 victory over the Dodgers on Monday night.

The Dodgers scored one run each in the first and second innings, and added three runs in the fourth in the loss.

In other action, the Cardinals defeated the Nationals 8-2.

The Cards scored three runs in the fourth and five runs in the fifth.

The game was scoreless until the fourth inning.

The Nationals got on board with two runs in the sixth.

Other scores around the league include the Cubs’ 14-3 victory over the A’s; and the Padres 14-8 victory over the Rockies.

11-to-12-year old boys

A. Smith went 3-for-3 with three singles to help lead the Braves to a 10-3 win over the Pirates on Monday night.

P. Grooms went 3-for-4 with two doubles; and T. Barber went 2-for-4 with a triple for the Braves.

The Braves scored three runs each in the first and fifth innings, and four runs in the sixth.

W. Clark went 2-for-3 with a triple for the Pirates.

In baseball action on Tuesday night, Twins pitcher Ethan Wilson struck out 17 to help his team to a 4-0 win.

Wilson scored on an RBI single from C. Courson early in the game, and the Twins added one run in the third inning on an error and one run on the fourth.

The Pirates beat the D’Backs 15-6, and the Braves beat the A’s 11-6 in other action on Tuesday night.
