JANET LOUISE C. WILLIAMSON

Janet Louise C. Williamson, 66, of River Falls, died Mon. May 7, 2012, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Fri., May 11, at South Church of God with the Rev. Larry Turman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be held Thurs., May 10, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Foreman’s and at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Chibicki, and her parents, Robert and Dorothy Chibicki.

She is survived by her husband, Lavon Williamson of River Falls; daughters and son-in-laws, Missy (Donnie) Grissett of Gantt, Karen (George) Kirby of Andalusia and Wendy (Rusty) Adams of Opp; sons and daughter-in-laws, Kevin (Brandy) Williamson and Robert (Nichole) Coleman, all of Opp; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary (Janet) Chibicki of Illinois.

 

BESSIE VONCILE GRANTHAM

Bessie Voncile Grantham, 91, of Andalusia, died Fri., May 4, 2012, in an Opp hospital.

Funeral services were held Mon., May 7, from the Foreman Funeral Home chapel with Minister Terry Stewart officiating. Interment followed in the Heath Cemetery

She is survived by her husband, Rufus D. Grantham of Andalusia; three daughters, Barbara (Rickey) Terry, Sandra Gail Grantham and Karen Priscilla (Michael) Piland, all of Andalusia; two sons, Timothy Ray Grantham, (Ret.) U.S. Navy aviation ordinanceman and wife, Vicki, of Enterprise, and Phillip W. Grantham, (Ret.) U.S. Navy chief aviation structural mechanic; and his wife, Myra, of Andalusia; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

JOEL A. MARSHALL

Joel A. Marshall, 72, of Andalusia passed away Sat., May 5, 2012, in the Andalusia hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m., today, Wed., May 9, at Keahey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Jackson and the Rev. Pete Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Carol Stevenson Marshall of Andalusia; son, Tyler (Carol) Graham of Andalusia; stepsons, Terry Bishop, William Bishop, Richard Bishop, and Fred Upton; daughters, Susan Stephens and Rebecca Vandyke; brother, Ray Marshall of Opp; and sisters, Willie Ruth Edgar of Opp, Bertha Lee (James) Thompson of Opp, Bonnie (Bobby) Flowers of Slocomb and Mary Johnson of the Bullock Community. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Marshall and Nettie Pearl Vance, as well as 18 brothers and sisters.
