The Covington Historical Society is seeking information about “May Day at Church Street School,” including old home movies that could be converted to DVD, photographs of students in costume and of the May Pole dance.

The May program of the society will be held on Thurs., May 31, 7 p.m., at the Dixon Memorial Room of the Andalusia Public Library.

All former Church Street School students who participated in May Day are invited to attend this meeting which will include discussion of remembrances of that event that was celebrated for many years on the school lawn.
