AUTREY ALTON BASS

Autrey Alto Bass, 84, of Andalusia, died Sun., May 20, 2012, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., today, Tues., May 22, at the Shady Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Orso officiating, and burial following in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mavis Bass of Andalusia; his daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Marvin Hicks of Andalusia and Beth and Thomas Holland of Gantt; his sons and daughter-in-law, Adam Autrey Bass and Eric William and Tammy Bass of Andalusia; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esther Wise of Florala.

Pallbearers will be Lloyd Smith, Fletcher Spicer, Wayne Bass, Robert Douglas, Lewis Bass and Randy Bass.

LORETTA JAN TURNER

Loretta Jan Turner, 68, of Red Level, died Wed., May 16, 2012, in an Opp hospital.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Opp Health and Rehab for their many acts of kindness and care.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy Faust of Red Level and Shelly Bowling of Frankfort, Ky.; three sons, Russell Witten of Niceville, Fla., Thomas Franklin Witten of Mt. Carmel, Tenn., and Mitchell Eugene Witten of Owenton, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rick Yates; and three sisters, Wanda Mullins, Lynn Yates and Pat Singleton.
