The Pirates beat the D’Backs 11-10 during Opp City League action on Friday night at the Opp Sportsplex.

The Pirates scored five runs in the third inning, and led 6-4 going into the fourth.

Pirates center fielder Hart Bodry nailed a single to right, but squeezed out a double when he advanced to second on a throw.

Christian Holloway scored on Bodry’s single.

The D’Backs held a 4-0 lead going into the third inning.
