Covington County’s 16-to-17-year-old and 17-to-18-year-old Babe Ruth baseball teams combined for three wins in the 15th annual Church’s Chicken Memorial Day Tournament at the Opp Sportsplex.

The 17-18s finished the tournament 1-3, while the 16-17 team finished 2-2.

In today’s action, the 17-18 team led 6-0 in the third inning over the Wiregrass Cardinal, but ended up losing 11-7.

Additionally, the 16-17s beat the Wiregrass Cardinal 8-3 today to get its second win of the tournament.
