Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp and River Falls Police Departments May 28, 2012:

• Jeremy K. Sasser, 30, for two counts of failure to appear and held on a $1,941.41 bond.

• Jimmy K. Freeman, 22, for failure to appear and held without bond.

• John Michael Jasinski, 42, on a warrant of arrest for child support and held without bond.

• Matthew W. Lee, 18, for two counts of failure to appear and held without bond.

 

Clarification: In the Tues., May 29, edition it was reported that Susan Brown, 55, was arrested for driving under the influence. This is not the Susan L. Brown, 55, of Andalusia, who is employed with the U.S. Postal Service. The Star-News is happy to clarify this matter for our readers.
