The families of Brittany Nicole Brooks of Andalusia and Samuel Levi Helms of Opp are pleased to announce their children’s engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Gail and Terry Wheeler and T.L. Brooks of Andalusia. She is the granddaughter of Nora Wheeler and the late Sherman E. Wheeler and the late Mattie and Arnold Lloyd and the late Geraldine Brooks.

She is 2009 graduate of Straughn High School and later LBW Community College. She is currently attending Auburn University, where she is earning a degree in history.

The prospective groom is the son of Joe and Bonni Helms of Opp. He is the grandson of Erma Jean Helms, Carolyn Rogers and W. D. Rogers.

He is a 2008 graduate of Opp High School and later LBW Community College. He is currently pursuing a degree in polymer and fiber engineering from Auburn University. He is currently employed at Carmike Cinemas.

The couple will unite at Green Tree Christian Fellowship on June 16, 2012, at 2 p.m.
