Opp’s Dixie Majors beat the Post 12 19-and-under baseball team 8-7 on Sunday to win the Post 12’s annual tournament in Dothan.

The Opp Dixie Majors team beat the Post 12 Junior team 5-1 to advance to the championship round against the host team.

Earlier in the tournament, the dixie majors fell to the Post 12 19U team 12-2 to get its only loss of the tournament. Opp finished the three-day tournament 5-1.

Additionally, Opp beat the Georgia Eagles 9-2; Leesburg, Ga. 17-2; and the Post 12 Junior team 14-13 on Friday.

The dixie majors will play in the Circle City Classic in Dothan this weekend from Friday until Sunday, where 10 teams from all over the country will converge at Westgate Park.
