The American Legion Auxiliary, Unit No. 80, has announced its six delegates to Girls State, which will be held at Troy University June 10-15.

These outstanding juniors from each high school in the county were selected to learn and participate in a weeklong “laboratory of practical government, policies and citizenship.”

The American Legion Auxiliary is a women’s organization in Andalusia whose members are proud to sponsor the following six juniors in this unique leadership training program:

• Pleasant Home: Courtney Salter.

• Red Level: Hannah Johnson.

• Florala High: Kendyl McDaniel.

• Opp High: Hannah Hughes.

• Straughn: Courtney Fussell.

• Andalusia: Anna Beth Bowden.
