Peeping Tom meth cooks plea

Two men arrested for making meth in their Florala home last month, and in 2010 for videoing customers in their tanning salon have pled to the charges.

Ric-ardo Perez, 38, and Timothy E. Town-send, 41, each pled to manufacturing of a controlled substance II, possession of marijuana II and criminal surveillance.

Perez, who was represented by local attorney Corey Bryan, was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment; however, a probation hearing is set for June 21.

Townsend was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The two were among the 33 cases disposed of in May by the district attorney’s office and include guilty pleas for:

• Chad Adams: distribution of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

• Oddesius L. Bryant: distribution of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

• Bethany L. Butts: manufacturing of a controlled substance II. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison and granted a reverse split sentence of 18 months. Attorney: Bill Alverson

• Joseph T. Butts: manufacturing of a controlled substance II. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison and granted a reverse split sentence of 18 months.

• Michael D. Crenshaw: possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 10 years in prison. A probation hearing is set for June. 21.

• Jason D. Dean: as an adult sex offender, failure to notify change of employment, and sentenced to 15 years. In a separate case, he plead guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 15 years.

• Roger Lee Harris: receiving stolen property II and sentenced to 46 months of probation.

• Cedric L. Hasley: assault II and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

• Elizabeth P. Hincey: possession of a controlled substance and entered drug court.

• Thomas H. Hutcheson: burglary II and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

• Cortney L. Inman: two counts of burglary II and was sentenced to six years in prison on each count.

• Bridge M. King: possession of a forged instrument II and was sentenced to 46 months imprisonment.

• James K. Merritt: receiving stolen property II and was sentenced to 46 months probation.

• Richard M. Mock: burglary II and sentenced to eight years imprisonment. A probation hearing date is set for June 21.

• Angel M. Nelson: possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 32 months of probation.

• Larry P. Parrish: manufacturing of a controlled substance and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

• Ryan J. Reeves: theft of property II and sentenced to 15 years inprisonment.

• Crystal L. Slay: burglary III and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• Lavonda S. Smith: possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 32 months probation. A

• Thomas L. Smith: possession of a controlled substance and entered into drug court.

• Debra Ann S. Thompson: possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to five years probation.

• Danial J. Todd: theft of property II and sentenced to eight years in prison.

• Mack Vickers: possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 15 years.

• Corey A. Walden: an adult criminal sex offender – transfer of residence and sentenced to five years in prison.

• Lex A. Wheeler: unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance II and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

• Kasey C. White: distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to eight years in prison. She was granted a reverse split sentence of 18 months.

• Jessie Franklin Williams: fraudulent use of a credit/debit card and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Those in two other cases were found guilty during jury trials and include:

• Joseph Russell: assault I with sentencing set for July 12.

• Janice Stackhouse: distribution of a controlled substance and harassing communications. Sentencing is set for June 12.
