The Andalusia Board of Education Monday night accepted the resignations of :

• Wendy Mathews, 8th grade math teacher.

• Linda Kyle, 6th grade teacher, retirement.

• Astrid Evers, AES media specialist.

The board transferred:

• Sara Mixson from special ed secretary in the central office to ninth grade English teacher.

• Marci Farley from AMS 7th grade English to 8th grade English.

• Sandra Dendy from 8th grade English teacher to 8th grade social studies teacher.

• Kim Thompson from AES secretary to central office federal programs secretary.

The board hired:

• Kelli Bowlan as AMS special education paraprofessional.

• Jacob King as social science teacher and coach.

• Erin Chavers as 6th grade reading teacher..

• Horace Graham as 6th grade social studies teacher.
