SHS Class of 1944 holds reunion

The Straughn High School Class of 1944 recently met at Chen’s Garden for its 68th reunion, with 19 people in attendance. Dr. John Reuben Langford and his wife, Rebecca, planned and originated the event. Dr. Langford grew up in Five Points (Rose Hill) and practiced veterinary medicine in Daytona Beach, Fla., for 42 years before returning to his home place.
