JACKIE PARRISH

Jackie Parrish, 76, of Libertyville, passed Sat., June 23, 2012, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.

Memorial services will be held on Wed., June 27, at 6 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive visitors an hour before the service.

He is survived by his companion, Nell Bledsoe of Andalusia; his daughter, Beverly Dallis of New York City, N.Y.; his brothers, Robert P. (Betty June) Parrish of Denver and Albert G. (Sybil) Parrish of Brewton; and grandchildren, Tanya L. and Anthony J. Dicristo, and Cheyenne M. Dallis.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert L. Parrish.

JULIA SLATON TEMPLE

Julia Slaton Temple, 84, formerly of Andalusia, died Fri., June 22, 2012, in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.

Funeral services were held on Tues., June 26, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Calhoun and the Rev. Tim Trent officiating and burial following in Macedonia Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl (David) Selwyn and Sandra (Larry) Thrash, both of Destin, Fla.; a son, Jerry Hart of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; stepson, Skip Temple of Mobile; stepdaughters, Wanda T. Fowler of Atmore, Bonnie L. Temple of Montgomery and Bethany (Robert) Creal of Grand Bay; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Earle Temple; her brother, James W. Slaton; and her mother, Fleeter Slaton.

Pallbearers were Ken Selwyn, Donavon Selwyn, Michael Thrash, Mike Nelson, Larry Adams and Bill Bryant.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Emerald Coast Hospice in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., or the charity of one’s choice.
