The tri-city football and cheerleading league is busy preparing for the upcoming season and will be raising financial support through various upcoming activities.

Support for these programs will assist in procuring uniforms, equipment and to re-condition helmets to guard against injury, league officials said.

Tomorrow, get your car washed for a donation and/or purchase a “cajun” style barbecue pork steaks and chips for $5 per plate.

Those interested may also register your child to participate in either football or cheerleading.

Any child who is 6 years old on or before Aug. 1, and up to 12 years old my participate. Registration cost is $40.
