Wooten could win 4th title Saturday

Jerome Wooten could become a four-time winner in the singles division of the World Championship Domino Tournament if he defeats Pat Henke in the finals Saturday.
Wooten is a Kansas City resident who won the tournament in 2008, 2010 and 2011. Henke was a finalist in the doubles competition last year.
Two people have won more titles in the tournament than Wooten. James Morgan of Bassfield, Miss., and Harold Marler of Clinton, Miss., each hold five titles. Morgan won in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1986 and 1987. Marler won in 1989, 1992, 1994, 2004 and 2006.
Singles play began Friday morning.
Finalists in the singles tournament were Michael Hair, third place; Bobby Wilson, fourth; Dan Wood, fifth; and Tom Ford, sixth.
Winners in the consolation bracket were Jerry Baker and Albert Williams.
