Andalusia Regional Hospital CEO Mark Dooley confirmed Friday that he is leaving his current post in early August.

Dooley has accepted a similar position in southwest Ohio.

Dooley said he and his family have loved their time in Andalusia and were not looking to leave.

Hospital board chairman Terry Powell said he expects an interim administrator to be appointed in the near future. Board members will meet with a potential candidate Friday.
