The Covington County Chapter of the University of Alabama National Alumni Association will hold its annual scholarship awards reception today, Thurs., July 19, at the PowerSouth boardroom. A meet and greet will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a 6:30 p.m. program.

Robert E. Hayes III, College of Arts and Science assistant dean and director of student services at UA, will be the featured speaker.

The event will be a finger food reception and not a traditional dinner.

Cost is $5.
