More money talks are scheduled for Monday’s county commission meeting, with newly-elected chairman Bill Godwin taking the lead.

Godwin is on the agenda to discuss the county’s proposed bond refinancing, while a representative from Regions Bank is expected to give the county its third proposal to refinance more than $7 million in outstanding debt and generate approximately $2 million to serve as matching funds for grant-funded road projects.

Also on the agenda are resolutions for an agreement between the state and the Covington Area Transit System (CATS); a memorandum of understanding for the judicial administration fund; and for using state ATRIP money to resurfacing County Road 70, 43 and 4.

The meeting, which is held in the county administration building on Hillcrest Drive, will begin at 9:30 a.m.
